For the record. It’s actually better to own a used bassoon anyway. That way it’s had some time to settle. They typically play better. As long as you can test it out and whatnot.
My school bought me a new bassoon from like Jupiter or Yamaha (I don’t remember) and it was like in the first batch they had ever made, and the company had put it together wrong.
